A third amending budget on June 10 with new measures of support

The government will report on June 10, in the council of ministers a new draft amending budget for 2020, in particular with measures to support youth employment and to the sectors in difficulty, announced on Thursday that the Economy minister Bruno le Maire.

project finance law should allow in particular to endorse the support measures already announced in the sectors of tourism and the automobile sector, but also those to come for the aviation sector, has detailed Bruno Le Maire said on France 2. All these measures will be adopted in the course of the month of July to enable these sectors with the greatest difficulties to face the crisis," he explained. "Moreover, the finance law project that I will be presenting on June 10, with (the minister of public Accounts) Gérald Darmanin in the council of ministers, of measures on the learning and employment of young people", he added.

on Wednesday, Gérald Darmanin had indicated that the government would also take this opportunity to support measures to finance local communities, severely affected by the crisis.

This draft amending budget for 2020 will be the third since the beginning of the crisis caused by the Covid-19.

In the previous, the government had revised downwards its economic forecasts for this year, anticipating a recession of 8%, a public deficit of 9% and a public debt of 115%. The situation will ultimately be more serious, has already warned Bruno Le Maire, and these figures should also be revised.
