This edition will be open to 14 schools in the area, along with other collaborating entities, administrations, such as the Junta de Andalucia (UJA), National Distance University (UNED), and the School of Applied Technologies. It will run from tomorrow morning through Friday.
Pedro Luis Rodriguez, the mayor, was accompanied by members of municipal corporation, Maria Jose Lara, the territorial delegate to Sustainable Development; Manuel Valdivia (the secretary of UNED Jaen) and Eva Maria Morgado (the vice-rector of Communication at the UJA). The fair was inaugurated by the alderman, who noted its "consolidation as one of the educational benchmarks of the province and Andalusia due to the large participation and involvement of education community". "Great professionals in science can emerge from the dedication shown by students and teachers," stated the first mayor.
This space will host more than 2,000 students from different age groups. It has 56 exhibitors. There will be workshops, projects and conferences, as well as activities related to science and letters. Parallel to the Fair, two performances will be held at the Don Gome Children's Palace by the IES Nuestra Senora de la Cabeza as well as the IES Jandula.

This exhibition is part of an Andalusian Network of Science and Innovation Fairs, which are funded by the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities. These conferences are primarily about health. Yesterday, professionals from Alto Guadalquivir Hospital conducted workshops on basic life support and limb immobilization, as well as cardiovascular risk prevention.
