Two people were arrested by the Civil Guard of Almeria as suspected perpetrators of 12 robberies in Levante Almeria. Six of them were successful and six more attempted.

According to the armed institute, the action started when agents were notified by victims of several robberies in their homes in Turre and Bedar in the northern part of the province. .
After a series of ocular inspections and the collection of valuable testimony from witnesses, the agents were able determine the modus operandi. This consisted in monitoring the houses until the inhabitants left temporarily. empty. They then broke the windows and doors with a crowbar to gain access to the interior. Then they stole the valuables and moved on to the next house.
Agents located the location where the stolen items were kept and identified the two perpetrators.
Finaly, the judicial authority authorized the searches in two buildings. A multitude of items from the robberies was recovered and these were later given to their legitimate owners.
The Investigating Court in Vera (Almeria) has received the proceedings along with the detainees. "Thanks to the persistence of the agents normality has been restored to the area," said the Benemerita.
