Domingo Trabalon was the spokesperson for the Popular Party of Zurgena. He celebrated that the Zurgena City Council was governed by Luis Diaz (socialist), and had "rectified" the Public Job Opportunity published in the BOP August 30th. This was after being requested by the Popular Party because it was against municipal workers' interests.
Trabalon filed a document with the Zurgena City Council on September 2. He urged the mayor to reverse his decision. "All City Council workers must be able to present themselves to their jobs and attend to the needs of each of them," he stated.
A month and a quarter later, on Tuesday last week, the Public Employment Offer of the City Council was canceled. Domingo Trabalon said that this is "good news for all municipal workers."
The mayor's decision is in agreement with the Popular Party, whose spokesperson has fought from opposition so that the process can be scrupulously respected. No worker is left behind.
"The PP could not allow the public job offer without considering the situation of the City Council workers, many of whom have been carrying out their functions for over ten years. Therefore, we decided to ask the mayor to correct the problem.
