The Plaza de Juan de Valencia hosted a lively 'Guateque neighborhood'

Recent days saw the Plaza de Juan de Valencia host a 'Guateque neighborhood' activity, organized by the Libertad Neighborhood Women's Organization with the support of the Ubeda Municipal Council. This proposal was made to recreate the festive atmosphere of parties from decades past, with plenty of live music and dancing.

The activity was first performed in 2019, with excellent results. However, it couldn't be repeated due to restrictions imposed by the pandemics of 2020 and 2021. The coexistence was maintained throughout the day. A great paella was made and bar service was provided.

Concerning the musical aspect, the night was marked by Pedro Jerez's performance and the comparsa "La Ley del Silencio". This 'Guateque neighborhood" received a positive response once again and achieved its goals.
