The Municipal Swimming Pool Complex hosts nightly evenings for the aged

The Municipal Swimming Pool Complex is already full, so the Seniors and Citizen Participation area will be hosting evenings for the aged again. They will be held every Saturday from July 9 through September 10 from ten at night until one in the morning. The Seniors and Citizen Participation Area has resumed a summer initiative with the goal of promoting activities that encourage active aging, healthy lifestyle habits and allow for free time to engage in other leisure activities and boost self-esteem.

Magdalena Urrutia (Consultant for the Elderly and Citizen Participation), stated that this is one of the activities that takes place throughout the year to target this segment of the population. This work focuses on actions to prevent loneliness and isolation among the elderly. Juanjo Infantes will perform live music during the evenings. Entry is free.
