The Defense Subdelegation is awarded the Crystal Seal of Excellence

After obtaining the 400-499 level certification, the Almeria Defense Subdelegation was awarded the 'Crystal Seal 2021" for excellence in public service. This is according to the European reference model EFQM, European Foundation for Quality Management.

These seals are awarded each year to ten General State Administration organizations for their achievements in achieving excellence, as well as for innovation, commitment, quality, and efficiency. The ten organizations share the same goals of equity, social cohesion, and well-being for all, as well as ensuring responsible economic viability using taxpayer money.

The 'Crystal Seal 2021" was presented during the ceremony of XIV Reference Awards at headquarters of General Directorate of Public Governance, chaired by Lidia Sanchez Milan, Secretary of State for Public Administration.

This is the second Crystal Seal’ awarded by the Defense Subdelegation on the Road to Excellence. It was also awarded the Crystal Seal 2016' February 2018, in recognition of outstanding public management based upon the EFQM model in the period October 2016 – October 2017. According to the Defense Subdelegation, it received its first certification of excellence in October 2008 with two hundred points, followed by three hundred in October 2016. The second certification was for three hundred points, in October 2016, and then four hundred in July 2020. This seal is a mark of quality in Almeria. Carlos Angel Echevarria was the delegate for Defense in Andalusia. He attended the ceremony on behalf the Armed Forces and was presented with the 'Crystal Seal 2020" for his organisation's excellence.
