After being proposed by the Government Team, the Churriana de la Vega City Council unanimously approved the Municipal Social Integration Plan For People with Different Abilities. This initiative will allow for the creation of jobs in all educational centers in Churriana. It is intended to be used by people with disabilities as per the criteria in the base of the call.
Antonio Narvaez, mayor of the municipality, stated that "the actions in this area improve the educational offer within the municipality." "The competences in education contracting are held by the Junta de Andalucia. However, the City Council wants to make every effort to improve services for the children, their families, and the daily operations of the educational centers."
The City Council received the requests up to August 25. These will be addressed in September. You can find the bases (which include the established scale as well as the application form for admission) on the City Council website.
Antonio Narvaez, Churriana's mayor, stated that there are approximately 60 people with disabilities recognized (equal or greater than 33%) who live in Churriana. This plan will provide temporary funding for all public education centers in the municipality, which had only one orderly staff until now.
Mayor of Toronto, Mr. Reynolds, said that this action would allow him to make progress in the area of inclusion and social cohesiveness, which will facilitate equal opportunities and independent living projects, for which he works every day. He also believes it is important to allocate these human resources to educational centres.
The Mayor was pleased to see the agreement among the various groups that make up the Municipal Corporation for the approval of the Municipal Plan for Social Integration. The Application Assessment Commission will include a member from each municipal political group, a councilor, a social worker, and a municipal lawyer.
The contracted personnel's duties include the custodial of the centers, entry control and attention to those outside, photocopying machines, audiovisual players, and orders related to the service they are being entrusted with.
The Municipal Social Integration Plan for People with Different Abilities (MSIP) will be valid for 2 years. It will be convened every year, according to the bases approved and published in the Official Gazette of the Province.
