All Spaniards look forward to the 2020 Christmas Lottery Draw. After having experienced a few months of the coronavirus epidemic that changed many things, it is even more. The regulars and not-so-regulars of games of chance hope that the next December 22nd in 2020's Christmas Lottery draw will bring them good fortune.
Additionally, the Christmas Lottery Draw will distribute 2,408 million Euros in prizes this year, which is 28 millions more than last 2019.
Since last July, Loterias y Apuestas del Estado has put on sale a total of 172 million tenths for the 2020 Christmas Lottery. These tenths are equivalent to 172 series each of 100,000 numbers. The issue reaches 3,440 million Euros, 70% of which is distributed as prizes.
Everyone is searching for El Gordo, the popular Christmas lotto name. This year's prize will be 400,000 euros. The second prize in the Christmas Lottery 2020 is 125,000 Euros for the tenth. The third will award 50,000 Euros per winning ticket.
