The House of Labor Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD) would like to present the corresponding draft in this quarter. Nevertheless, companies are already obliged to provide their employees with a system for recording working hours and to enforce this. That's the theory. Because there are hardly any comprehensive controls or penalties. A current employee survey provides insights into how many companies are already using time checks - and in which cases the possible time recording for employees would even become a reason for termination.
