Red Cross and the City Council signed a new agreement to continue the various employment and training projects the Red Cross develops in the city through its provincial Employment Plan. Pedro Luis Rodriguez, the mayor of the City, was present at the signing. Jose Boyano, the president of Jaen's Red Cross, and Pedro Calzado, the provincial director for the institution's Employment Plan were also present. The agreement aims to co-finance the project "Itineraries That Add", which also receives support from the European Social Fund, Government of Spain, and the Provincial Council of Jaen.

The program includes key measures like the motivation, social and labor orientation of participants, training in the most sought-after occupations, and internships in Andujar companies that require personnel. The City Council provided financing of 7,000 euros to finance the projects. Andujar hosts courses on Social and health Care for people at their homes, Preparation and serving of fast food and beverages in the hospitality industry, as well as Multipurpose Personnel in the construction trades, plasterboard assembly, and painting. The field of renewable energy and warehouse will also be featured in the training programs.

Red Cross provincial president thanked Andujar City Council "for its support of the institution in creating projects that improve employment opportunities for citizens."

He analyzed the harmony between the two parties' objectives and pointed out that "the programs seeks to boost the economy of the municipality, offering very valuable resources for the development of social and labor sectors that have certain barriers in accessing jobs".
