"Private Dance" costs students in a strip club 5600 euros

A student from the Upper Palatinate went to a Polish strip club - after that more than 5600 euros disappeared from his account. On a class trip to Kraków, the 18-year-old from Kümmersbruck in the Amberg-Sulzbach district went to the club and paid 65 euros for a “private dance” with his EC card, the police said on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Amberg police said it was unclear whether the young man went into a separate room with a dancer or whether she danced at his table.

At the same time, the young man said he was served two glasses of schnapps – allegedly on the house. The young man could no longer remember what happened after that, as he reported to the police.

When the 18-year-old came home from the school trip, he reportedly found that strangers had withdrawn money from his checking account several times and several thousand euros were missing. According to his conviction, this could only have happened in the Kraków strip club, the victim reported to the police.

"He definitely took the right step to contact us," said the police spokesman. The matter is not hopeless: one will now try, in cooperation with Polish colleagues, to track the unauthorized debits and to locate the perpetrators.
