Presentation of the book "Francisco de los Cobos" and the arts at the court of Carlos V

The Santiago Hospital's Julio Corzo Room hosted the presentation of the book 'Francisco de los Cobos, the arts at the court of Carlos V' by Sergio Ramiro (doctor in Art History, professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid). The Ubeda Association for Culture organized the event. El Agent Secreto bookstore, Ubeda City Council and Autonomous University of Madrid participated in the collaboration.

The author was accompanied by Jose Miguel Gamez Salas (president of Ubeda por la Cultura), Elena Rodriguez (councilor for Culture and Tourism) and Pedro Galera Andreu (professor of Art History at University of Jaen), who highlighted the investigation Sergio Ramiro did on a character that was as important as it was unknown, despite being a Spanish citizen.

This work focuses on Francisco de los Cobos, Ubet's patron of the arts and his relationship with them throughout his stays in Italy as well as various trips to Spain.
