OX MOB, electro fun on two wheels from the Spanish company OX Motorcycles

The young Spanish start-up OX Motorcycles, led by Adrián González, continues its growth and, neither short nor lazy, launches a new line of urban mobility. This is the first movement of the company that, after the first years of collaboration in China for the development and creation of its prototypes and with the pandemic in between to finish making things difficult, decided last year to move its production to Spain to give it a boost to the technical and human capacities of our country in the productive fabric that surrounds the electromobility industry.

Adrián González, CEO and head of OX Motorcycles, assured then that after learning "from the number one electric vehicle industry in the world", it was the right time, also managing to lower operating costs and provide a closer customer experience. . "Undoubtedly, our clients are the maximum beneficiaries of this decision and this was key to making the decision," he remarked then when announcing the change.

OX Motorcycles' decision to bring production to Spain had a lot to do with the confidence offered by relying on QuaZZar Technologies, the Madrid company with more than a decade of experience that has its technology center in the town of Coslada (Madrid) and that manufactures some models for other third parties, such as Velca, shared vehicle companies -Hi! Moto or Moter- and even delivery fleets, like those of Miss Sushi.

The first of its motorcycles to pass through the hands of QuaZZar was the OX One and from now on, all the models will be developed and manufactured in Coslada for the market, but they will be exclusive and no transfer to other brands is planned for sale. in parallel. A market that OX Motorcycles is already expanding with closed agreements with distributors in Portugal, France, Switzerland and Ireland that will be expanded "to the main markets of Europe in 2022", Elsa Garrus, director of marketing and sales of the brand, assured us. , to "continue with the US and Latin America in the second part of 2023".

QuaZZar Technologies accepted the challenge willingly. "I am proud as a Spanish businessman to be able to count on the trust of young entrepreneurs who give us the wonderful opportunity to generate quality employment and help us consolidate an industrial model of growth and sustainable development", commented Miguel Ángel Ferrero, CEO of QuaZZar Technologies. With the agreement, "we have expanded our facilities to 2,000 m2" (today it has a total of 3,000 m2 for all its production). These give OX Motorcycles a production capacity of over 2,000 units per year, a figure that allows it to face the challenge of expanding its business horizons.

OX Motorcycles has just announced the arrival of its new bet. This is OX MOB, a sub-brand based on one of the firm's mantras, "Fuck Boring Motorcycles" (something like "Let boring motorcycles be bugged"), with which it seeks to give eco-mobility a spin and, according to its press release, laugh at its most serious and sober side.

"OX MOB seeks to refresh the current offer of urban electric vehicles. The market is growing and although our pipeline did not contemplate introducing more vehicles until 2024, we believe that this is the ideal time to do so," says Adrián González, CEO of OX Motorcycles.
