Yesterday, El Ejido's City Council hosted an Extraordinary Municipal Plenary for the purpose of conducting the election by lottery of members of the electoral table for the elections to the Andalusian parliament that will take place on June 19, 2022.
The draw was made among 46,998 eligible voters in the municipality. Of these, 25,523 were women and 21,475 were men.
The computerized process that determined which members were at each of the 78 electoral sections in the municipality was used to draw the winners. This information will be distributed to 27 schools.
The 702 members that will ensure democracy were elected in this manner.
This means that El Ejido has 26,603, Ensenada de San Miguel has 6,976, Santa Maria del Aguila has 4,671 and Santa Maria del Aguila with 4,671. These three entities make up more than 80%.
The 1,953 voters who will be eligible to exercise their rights to vote in the Elections are on the other side.
Yesterday's appointed people will be notified at home in the coming days. They will also receive an instruction manual and all necessary information for the task.
