Los Cerros is part of a collaboration project between centers from various communities

IES Los Cerros was present at the first meeting of the project titled "Emotional Portrait". The School Groups program of Ministry of Education and Vocational Training frames the recent events in Lleida. This initiative promotes the realization of collaborative projects at the national level between educational centers from different communities with the goal of encouraging inclusive education, academic innovation, and interaction of students and teachers from different centres.

Maria del Mar Gallego, Maria Jose Leiva and students from Institut Torre Vicens, in Lleida, were present at the first meeting. It was intended that students and teachers of two other centers (Institut Torre Vicens, in Lleida, and IES Gaia de San Vicente del Raspeig, in Alicante) would work together on the functioning and management of emotions to help them better deal with everyday situations, such as exams and personal relationships.

Two additional meetings will be held during the course with students from these three centers. It will take place in October in San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante, and March in Ubeda.
