This Friday, December 10, the City Council of La Zubia will distribute more than 600 hot chocolates and sugar cakes to welcome Christmas. The Department of Festivities organized an amazing event to turn on Christmas lights. It will be held in the Parque de la Encina at 7:15 p.m. All children attending the event will receive cotton candy, Christmas songs, cartoon characters, and even Santa Claus.
Natalia Arregui (Councilor for Festivities), highlights that "Christmas lights this year will reach neighborhoods where it has never been before, like Barrichuelo", and that they have tried to distribute them in every neighborhood of our municipality. The mayor also stated that the lighting in the Parque de la Encina Bandstand has been enhanced, and "innovative" and "state-of-the art, something never seen in La Zubia.
Puri Lopez, the mayor of La Zubia, invites residents to visit Parque de la Encina on Friday to "receive Christmas in a big manner and enjoy another one of the activities on the Christmas programme which we have prepared with so much honey for these holidays that will be coming.
