La Zubia improves air conditioning at the Carlos Cano Cultural Center

The City Council of La Zubia installed a heat and cold pump that works in water to replace the old air conditioner at the Carlos Cano Cultural Center. This was done after it had been severely damaged. This machine replaces the old air conditioning system that was in use for more than 20 years. The Department of Energy spent nearly 27,500 euros on its renewal. The Consistory of Zubia will be able to reduce its electricity bills by up to 25%.

Puri Lopez, the mayor of La Zubia, says that this action is a response to residents who have been experiencing air conditioning problems at the cultural center for some time. This place hosts many workshops and other municipal activities. The councilor explains that the City Council of La Zubia plans to upgrade the air conditioning at the Casa Pinta Center and Carmen Jimenez Center in the next few months.

Francisco Camara, Councilor for Energy, states that the new air conditioner machine is rated A according to the energy certification tables and meets the requirements for making municipal facilities more durable and also more economically, as we all pay the bill.
