Krognytt: Misshumasshu and tavern with new owners

When Adam/Albin opened for a couple of years ago, the restaurant quickly gained in popularity, and now runs the krögarna also nudelbaren Raamen in the Ring and a matstudio with cooking classes. Recently they opened another restaurant, Misshumasshu, in Birger Jarlspassagen.

– Misshumasshu is a mishmash of Tokyo, Stockholm and Adam/Albin, " says Adam Dahlberg, one of the krögarna.

the Restaurant consists of three different parts; a ”diner”, a ”liquor bar” and a separate take-away part. Daytime served lunch, including the ”bowls” based on rice or noodles. In the evening there will be a wider menu inspired by japanese flavors. Then promised also ”drinks, high pulse and messy music”.

When Krogkommissionen tested Den Gyldene Freden in the Old town for less than a year ago, they were not satisfied. Not at all. But since then, the old tavern, and the Swedish Academy stamhak, received new owners. March 1 opened the restaurateur Philip Fastén who runs the pub along with the investors, Karl Törngren and Joachim Kuylenstierna, Peace with the new (or should I say old-school?) focus.

On the menu is american fare and seasonal ingredients in the traditional way. In addition, it pays the year's festivals and traditions. Sparrispremiär, the passover lamb, new potatoes, crayfish, venison, goose and christmas dinner are on the program.

Right now, this means, for example, pâté of pike (starter for 245 sek) and grilled lammsadel & brisket with butter wild garlic, a main dish for sek 410.
