The minus is a bit exaggerated, since the comparison with the previous week refers to Tuesday of the previous week, when the holiday states of Bavaria and Saarland had to make late registrations.
On the other hand: this is the 25th working day in a row on which the number of cases is below the level of the previous week.
The downward trend in the number of cases has weakened, as can be seen, for example, by comparing the 7-day average with the previous week: Here the minus is becoming increasingly smaller.
But at least the downtrend is still intact.
The 7-day incidence continues to fall today, from 289 to 275.
It has thus reached its lowest level since June 9th.
And: The incidence is now falling in all 16 federal states.
The incidence in Hamburg falls below 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days.
It is the fourth federal state after Thuringia, Baden-Württemberg and Berlin.
