"Incidence Turnaround in the North"

46,552 Corona cases were reported to the RKI yesterday.

This is the highest daily value for two weeks, compared to the previous week there is an increase of twelve percent.

The 7-day average of the new cases and also the nationwide incidence are higher today than a week ago - apart from a holiday-related outlier at the beginning of November, this is the first time since the autumn wave ended in mid-October.

The nationwide incidence is now 191.

In southern Germany, the bottom has apparently not yet been passed - and perhaps not even reached.

Different in the north: In eleven of the 16 federal states, the incidence is increasing today, among the 11 are all northern German states.

And: All northern German federal states recorded an increase in incidence compared to the previous week.

With the exception of North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein, the increase is consistently in double digits.
