Huetor Vega will celebrate World Environment Day on Sunday, with the traditional reforestation of the Camino de los Neveros. This is done in partnership with the Operacion Encina Association and the Department of the Environment of the City Council. There will also be workshops and family activities throughout the morning. Las Perdices 1 restaurant will serve as the meeting place. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., it will be reforesting using holm oaks or Kermes oaks.

Shaded tents will be available so people can bring a picnic to enjoy and stay afterwards. The food will be prepared using solar ovens, and portions will also be available at local restaurants. You will have plenty of water and lots of fun. It is recommended that you bring water guns and sprayers.
