AEMA, the Andalusian Marble Entrepreneurs' Association has already begun work on the Macael Awards 2021 Project. Friday, November 12th will be the date, with the event being postponed to 2020. Gala, which promises to regain the splendor it lost, will take place on Friday, November 12.

This edition of the Macael Awards, the thirty-fourth, will be a unique opportunity to present parallel activities that promote the natural stone sector as well as the Macael Brand. These actions will be held during the same week as the International Stone Meeting. They will also attend the gala.

The Jury will meet with members of the AEMA Board of Directors to select the finalist projects. It is expected that the meetings will take place in the coming weeks. As usual, the companies were required to submit the supporting documentation. This includes images, information material, technical documentation, and justifications for the proposal.

The categories remain ten: North America International Award, Latin America International Award, Europe International Award, Africa International Award, Asia International Award, National Award, Person/Institution Award, Design Award, Communication/Communicator Award and Award for Work in Marble 'Blanco Macael'. Indifferently, the International Awards and National Award can fall on a Work or Architect, Developer City Council, Public Administration.

We are reminded that the 2019 awards were given to Ignacio Perez Diaz (CEO of Grupo La Zagleta), with the Person Award; at the NKBA – National Kitchen and Bath Association of the United States with the Communication Award; Centro Canalejas Madrid with the National Award; ToHA Building with the Design Award; Hotel Casa Palacio Maria Luisa with the Macal White Marble Work Award; Silva House, Orlando, USA; Bicsa Financial Center Building Panama City, Leonardo Tower in Johannesburg, South Africa and Leonardo Tower in Johannesburg, South Africa and Leonardo Tower in Johannesburg, South Africa and Lagasca 99, Asia, Africa and Lagasca 99 in Madrid.
