For 2022, the new Roquetas Public Employment Opportunity provides 29 places. Nearly half of these are free.

Recent approval by the Roquetas de Mar City Council's Local Government Board has given the green light to the Public Employment Offer for 2022. A total of 29 positions are planned. The majority (16) will be used internally and 13 for free access.

According to the document IDEAL had access to, there will be 9 positions available for career civil servants who have free access. Level C2 will have 2 administrative collaborators and C1 will have 3 administrators. One position is for the person responsible for Tax Management (A2), and another for a Prevention manager. There are also two positions for senior intervention technicians (A1/A2).

Four additional places will be available for free, each corresponding to permanent staff at C2 level. These include an electrical officer, two mechanic officers, and another heavy machine officer.

Most internal promotions positions correspond to career civil servants. There are 10 total. There are five positions for C1-level administratives, two positions C2/C1 audiovisual technicians, and one position for A2-level process managers. Another A1-level Transparency and data protection technician is also available. This section also needs to mention the position of inspector of the Local Police (level A2), which corresponds to the Local Police's position in the Public Employment Offer. It was created after some exercises that have greatly improved the incorporation and promotion of a portion of the workforce as part of the renewal of the workforce and the growth in managers.

Six permanent internal promotion staff positions will be filled, all at C2 level. There are three public works supervisory officials, one cemeteries supervisory office, one public highway painting supervisory and one additional electricity supervisory.

The OEP for this year is late. This was acknowledged by the Local Government Board. It had to wait for the union election last January and the constitution a General Negotiation Table with the new representation.
