El Ejido City Council participates in the School of Intelligent Families’ research project. This work is coordinated by the Intelligent Families’ project, which is led by Antonio Ortuno, Familypsych team of University of Deusto, and the Habilmind platform. Its purpose is to provide ejidense family with universal, efficient educational keys and positive parenting that promotes the holistic development of children and teens.
Participants will be offered a training workshop and two online sessions as a free service.
A social service area organized activity that forms part of the municipal calendar of suggestions for the celebration of the IX Week of the Family.
Delia Mira, the councilor responsible, stated that before the workshop, an evaluation would be done that would help to analyze parenting skills. The goal of this evaluation is to set limits for emotional levels, manage conflict in a positive manner, and promote family coexistence. This project will be completed in phases, lasting approximately seven months.
The guided route through Punta Entinas Sabinar's natural area, which is open to all ages, will be held this Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Moises Palmero from El Arbol de las Piruletas will direct the activity. Participants can register now until they run out.
The Cultural and Recreational Circle will also host a free, fun and practical workshop for 300 people on June 12th, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. under the title 'Neuroeducation Through Family Play'. This workshop is being presented by the AFIM 21 association. Adults will be given information about how play can help their children's education and development. Minors will also participate in workshops that will allow them to meet others and then apply the knowledge.
