Through the Department of Social Services, the City Council of Churriana de la Vega has continued the school material campaign for families living in particularly vulnerable circumstances for another year. Families have been issued checks by the Community Social Services of Churriana de la Vega to be exchanged for school supplies at local bookstores and stationery shops.

Antonio Luis Rodriguez, Councilor, said that the action was "an effort to make the beginning of the year simpler for families who most need it." Thanks to local businesses who generously offered to take part in this initiative, Churriana will receive twice the benefit.
