Between October 3 and 6, the 21st century's 'City of the Theater,' and the 'Cazorleans, will be returning with the I Advancement Festival. The Overtaking of Cazorla was a time when the region's cultural and social progress was evident. However, it also facilitated a political-religious, and architectural development that has, without doubt, reached our times. Although it is a different design than the one they plan to recreate, it will be more in line with today's needs and demands. It is believed that the Iglesia mayor de Santa Maria, which was designed by Andres de Valdivia, is not one of these. Instead, Plaza de Santa Maria is a scenic space in Andalusia. Although it was once a business and neuralgic hub in Cazorla, it has become a tourist attraction and historical landmark.
Cazorla hopes to pay homage to a time when its face has been partially altered by offering a wide range of activities.
