Armilla arranges a guided tour to the Alhambra or the Generalife

Residents of Armilla will have a May 25 appointment to learn about history, art, and culture. The Alhambra and Generalife will be visited by the town council. A guide service will provide information and curiosities to all visitors. This historic monument is visited by thousands every week.

This cultural activity has been announced by the Consistory. It will start at 9:00 on Saturday, May 27th. The Parque de la Paz will host the event, which is located next to avenue Fernando de los Rios. For this visit to the monument designated historical heritage by UNESCO, the inscriptions cost 10 euros. This price includes the bus, official guide service, and entry to the site.

According to the organization, there will be 56 places for registered citizens in the town. It is important that you register early to avoid being left out of the excursion. In the event that there is not enough registered voters, there will be a waitinglist. You can register at the Municipal House of Culture. The visit will conclude at 5:00 pm, which is the approximate time Armilla will return home. The Municipal Corporation recommends that you bring lunch and water, especially for older people who will be out in the sun for long periods of time.

Torres Bermejas

The announcement of the opening Torres Bermejas, the massive complex's monumental towers, coincides with this cultural visit. It will be open for visitors after 18 months worth of restoration work. The exterior and interior structures were consolidated, and the original structure was recovered. This is a significant improvement on the space's condition after it had been subject to a variety of tenants over the years.

Granadans will have the opportunity to enjoy free guided tours in this area during June. They can admire the beauty of the area, which has been closed to the public since its restoration. Other archaeological tasks were also undertaken, including finding various remains of the medieval wall or the Nasrid tower.
