The president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, has assured that during his first year in office the Government has "worked to put the institutions at the service of the whole of Catalonia, so that everyone feels represented and so that everyone feels that is part."
This is how he defends it in a video that he has published on Twitter this Saturday, the day that marks a year since he came to the Presidency of the Govern after the elections of February 14, 2021, in which the independence movement expanded its absolute majority in the Parliament.
In the video, Aragonès highlights that during this year his Executive has worked "to place Catalonia in Europe, recovering the dialogue with the community institutions and carrying the voice of Catalonia everywhere".
She also remembers that she works to promote policies that put people's lives at the center, such as the free P2, as well as to frame them within "a clear feminist vision".
Aragonès reaffirms the Government's commitment to a green and digital industrialization that allows the generation of "quality and well-paid jobs".
For him, the best example of this green and digital industrialization is the battery component factory that will be installed in Mont-Roig del Camp (Tarragona), "the largest investment of a newly established industrial nature in the last twenty years".
In this area, he also highlights "the promotion of renewable energies in a decisive, distributed way" and the reinforcement of self-consumption, which according to him had been forgotten for a long time.
He also praises the "clear commitment to the future, to research and innovation", as well as the Government's commitment to access to higher education, lowering and adapting prices, according to Europa Press.
Aragonès assures that with these actions and many others the Government "works for the entire country and for a free country, so that this country can become an independent State".
"We promote the resolution of the political conflict with the defense of amnesty and the right to self-determination, so that it is the citizens of Catalonia who decide, without interference, without violence from the State and with all the freedom, what the future of the country should be. ", has settled.
In the text that accompanies the video shared on Twitter, Aragonès has defended that a year ago he took office "with all personal humility and collective ambition."
"A year working for the whole of Catalonia, with republican values and at the service of citizens. Transforming Catalonia to achieve the freedom of the country", he added.
