Angry bride commits two crimes on wedding day

On the day of her wedding, a bride in Upper Franconia committed two crimes in a row and got into trouble with the police. First, the 32-year-old stormed out of a hairdresser's shop in Hof in a rage without having paid the full price for her bridal hairstyle, the police said on Sunday. Then she hit the hairdresser's car.

The police are now investigating the woman for two criminal offenses. A police spokesman could not say whether the woman was still married that day. "The crimes were not an obstacle from the police side."

According to the investigation, the woman had refused to pay the increased price for bridal hairstyles on Saturday. Instead, she just threw the amount for normal updos on the counter and stormed out of the shop angrily. Afterwards, a witness observed how a woman with a veil and an updo drove her car into another parked car when parking in front of the salon and then left the scene of the accident.

"Based on the conspicuous personal description, the identity of the person who caused the accident was quickly clarified," the police report said. The damaged car belonged to the hairdresser, of all people. The police spokesman could not say whether that was coincidence or intentional. A patrol drove to the angry customer that day to record signs of an accident on her car.
