Despite recent drops in temperatures, June 2022 remains among the hottest years. The next few days will be sunny and the temperatures will rise. Almeria will experience a slight decrease in temperatures after a hot weekend. However, temperatures will rise again on Thursday.
Jose Antonio Maldonado is Meteored's director of meteorology. The Meteored model predicts that temperatures will rise to 40 degrees in the Atlantic and Cantabrian slopes during the week of July 11-17. It seems likely that July will see a hot environment across the country. However, it is unlikely that there will be an extreme heat wave. The thermal values will be lower in the Cantabrian slope, along with some parts of the Mediterranean coast, and Canary archipelago. However, it is more dangerous to make long-term predictions. It is even more difficult to focus on the second heat wave after we have just forgotten the first one.
