Abdallah Abou-Chaker, who has multiple criminal records, was deported from Berlin to Lebanon on Thursday. This is reported unanimously by the “Stern” and the “Bild” newspaper. According to this, the member of the well-known Abou-Chaker clan was arrested by heavily armed police officers in a café in the Charlottenburg district and flown out under the strictest security precautions.

When asked by WELT, the Berlin police confirmed the “forced enforcement of an obligation to leave the country” without giving any further details. As reported by "Stern", the 40-year-old is said to be free after being checked by the authorities at Beirut Airport.

According to the reports, Abdallah Abou-Chaker spent several years in prison in Germany on charges including drug trafficking, pimping and extortion. He is said to have also been noticed for driving without a license and causing bodily harm. Most recently, he was in custody earlier this year on suspicion of forced prostitution and rape. However, he was released after a short time.

The magazine quoted insiders as saying that two of Abdallah Abou-Chaker's younger brothers could now face deportation. The two are said to have recently been sentenced to four years and ten months in prison for fraud.
