Mechelen Three young people have sat morning a ravage caused by Busleyden Athenaeum Campus, The Meadows in the Stuivenbergbaan in Mechelen. A dozen windows, had to believe, just like a laptop, a phone and some of the doors. Thanks to a neighbor could the three of them are caught in the act and arrested. Two adults were being held by the investigating judge.

The threesome struck Tuesday in the early hours of the morning. “They beat a dozen windows, and my desk was searched. The laptop and phone were shattered,” says Marina Stockx, managing director of the high school. “They searched the lerarenlokaal, vomiting a few lockers open, hit the glass pane of a schoolbusje in and went to take a small sum of money.”

Thousands of euros damage

It comes to a minor (17) and two adults (18 and 19). They were arrested, taken to the police station and placed at the disposal of the Mechelen division of the Antwerp public prosecutor.

The three are no strangers to the court. “The two adults were with the examining magistrate and held,” adds the parquet. About the fate of the minor child are not yet known.

“Lucky”

The management board is the neighbor grateful. “She was not as alert response, had the havoc is much bigger”, says the principal. “The perpetrators didn't have the time to also get to the upper floor to visit.”
