Specialudrustet police used Saturday tear gas against demonstrators in Beirut. It came to pass, when they tried to break through a barrier around the parliament.

Around 5000 people gathered for the demonstration in Martyrs ' Square in the city centre.
Here threw some stones against the police. As the protesters tried to burden through the set barriers on a road up to the house they were met with tear gas, reports a journalist from Reuters.
the Demonstrators sang 'the people want the fall of the regime', and some had transparencies with slogans such as 'Go by, you are all murderers!'

Up to 300,000 people have been made homeless, estimates the capital's governor.
