the leader of The opposition launched the call during a speech to hundreds of supporters in the capital Caracas. He wants an end to the "occupation" by Maduro. The date is symbolically important, because on the Day of the Labour organises the socialist government traditionally large parades.
On January 23, called Guaido himself the interim president. Some fifty countries have him in that position to be recognized.
