The eight teenagers from ‘Banged Up: Teens Behind Bars’ were between 15 and 17 years old and were all in contact with the court. They declared themselves agreed to, by way of experiment a week to stay in one of the toughest prisons in Florida: Brevard County Jail. There, they participated in a special program: the ‘radical intervention programme.

The whole week, they should then work in the kitchen, the dirty laundry of the almost 2,000 other prisoners do, and engage in heavy physical workouts. It is, however, their visit to the morgue of the prison in the last episode that made them big eyes. While they are filled with horror their nose cover, they get under more of the corpses of murdered gang members, and a glimpse of their bodies that are kept in pots. (read on below)
