Besides the deaths came up against 30 persons injured when the trains collided about ten kilometers away from the border to Germany.
It informs a spokesperson from the emergency services about, writing among other things, told Reuters.

to start with, it was unclear how many people had come to harm. First, was the number at 20, but the number is now revised upward to 30.
There was less than one kilometer to the train station Pernink.

By accident, there came assistance from the German rescue teams.
It remains to be seen why the two trains collided. The authorities are working on the case.
