With his threat, via Twitter, to destroy Turkey "economically," U.S. President Donald Trump fired again properly verbal in the direction of Ankara. The response of Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu came immediately:
Sharp tonality"We see that Mr Trump has to fight against difficulties. Various security advisers put pressure on him and advise him of a withdrawal from Syria. Nevertheless, communicate with strategic partners and allies, not via Twitter or social media. We should continue to talk directly to each other about these issues."
But even the speaker of the Turkish President Ibrahim Kalin, responded on Twitter. The Turkey expect that the strategic partnership is not overshadowed by terrorist propaganda. It was a fatal mistake, to equate Syrian Kurds with the Kurdish PKK and its Syrian offshoot YPG. Both classify Turkey as a terrorist organizations.
Despite the sharp tones of the Minister Cavusoglu tried the outside in Serenity: "We have repeatedly expressed, that we make ourselves from such threats and nothing to be scared of. To threaten Turkey economically, leads to nothing. We should rather focus on how we co-ordinate this matter and solve it."
