Touching rescue: Big whale in trouble

A big kaskelothvals days looked to be numbered, before the Italian coast guard went into action.

Friday was a touching moment out of the island of Lipari's coast, north of Sicily. A bunch of alert biologists fit their work in a genoptræningscenter for turtles, as they discovered a large whale a piece out in the water.

In contrast to the normally touched the whale not out of flækken, and it got scientists to sound the alarm. They contacted the coast guard, which sent a team of divers set off to explore what mon was wrong.

Here they found the ever-living whale with the tail tightly entangled in a large fishnet, and then it was otherwise with to get in the swing. Two divers jumped in the water and began slowly but surely to cut the net up, so they could free the beast.

At the end, it succeeded, as can be seen in the video above the article.

the sperm whale is the world's largest-sized toothed whale, and the males can be up to 20 metres and weigh approximately 55 tons. They can be more than 70 years old.
