Arthur Melo was appointed a key role for the future of FC Barcelona's midfield when he was brought to the club two years ago.
Relatively unknown, expectations were quickly shot in the air, when he just 21 years old was described as 'the new Xavi'.
A menial predicate, which is almost impossible to live up to, especially when Xavi even acknowledge that the brazilian looked to have 'Barca DNA'.
But when he has been harmless, have the bars been promising, without, however, to be soleklare indications that it was a 'Blaugrana' i.e. found their new midtbanegeneral.
So why in all the world was in Barcelona satisfied with, yes, almost happy that the long awaited barter with Juventus' Miralem Pjanic recently became a reality?
Because the money is all in the top football...

When Arthur was brought in, threw the spaniards of approximately 223 million for the brazilian, while Juventus gave 260 million for Pjanic four years ago.
Because the clubs have agreed on the spoils, they have been able to set players as high as they have. Barca gets 537 million for Arthur and gives 447 million for Pjanic.
On the way, it comes simply to see that they both have earned big on the deal, which just falls within this accounts.
And even if the sum is paid in instalments, then one can in Barcelona and Turin, and really show the great profits up to FFP, UEFA's Financial Fair Play Regulations, so you get the longer line to go on a shopping spree this summer.
Particularly in Spain, it was a much needed transfer, especially the acquisition of Antoine Griezmann have done evil on both the wallet and the præsationerne on the track. If they need to download more new blood, they must show that they have the capital for it.
A bureaucratic peculiarity, one must admit, but a glaring sporting idea for Barcelona.
For what must now, with the 30-year-old Pjanic, ask many Barça fans themselves and the club.
In advance, advise the team of soon 32-year-old Sergio Busquets, 33-year-old Arturo Vidal, and the 32-year-old Ivan Rakitic, which reminds the most about the new entrants Pjanic clean spillemæssigt, and they all are supposed to want to play.
Only 23-year-old Frenkie De Jong and 20-year-old Riqui Puig looks like now bidding on midfield people with little future after Arthur's departure.
It can almost only mean yet more transfer play for FC Barcelona, who also have the prospect to juggle with seven strikers from next season.

In Torino they will probably stand with their arms in the air.
Also they benefit from the deal financially, but it is sporty, they would probably cheer the loudest.
Pjanic looked like an obvious bid on the Juve-coach Maurizio Sarris loved the regista role at the back in the midfield. A role, as Jorginho completed solid in both Napoli and Chelsea under Sarri.
But it has not worked for Pjanic in the role. He has even had to see himself overtaken by the young Rodrigo Bentancur, though nor has he shone.
Therefore it is more than obvious to part with Pjanic, while he can go for a solid sum of money and get Arthur the game in the place. Pasningsstærk and with the good view he looks like a really good bid on the one that can distribute the ball in a deep playmaker role.
