the Parents criticise the department for having poor forward planning and they are disappointed in that, as they experience it, the plans for their children for the fall change. They are also worried that the children's way to school will become significantly longer and that the children thus also will be exposed to the heavily trafficked streets and roads. The parents believe that the location of the school – Roslagsskolan, to be built north of the Sveaplan – where the kids are supposed to go, is also problematic for another reason.

– It is on the other side of the E4. The area is the worst avgashålet in Stockholm, said Leif Svensson, one of the parents.

Hilmarsdottir refers to the very strained situation regarding school places in the Vasastan district and throughout the Norrmalm, and believes that the department of education has done its best to resolve the situation for the children. She also stresses that the administration keeps within the rules that apply to a secure way to school for the kids.

But she turns to the description of the that the municipality would have given the parents a promise to the children in Karlberg school would get to go even in the fourth grade.

" It has not been given any promise. It is regrettable that it has been perceived so. The school has told you about lokalsituationen and announced that it is working with different solutions, " says Happy Hilmarsdottir to DN on Tuesday.
