Study: Only half of the matallergikerne was allergic

Two out of ten adults in the united STATES believe they have a food allergy. This is almost twice as many as actually have got a confirmed diagnosis, shows the study that was recently published in the journal JAMA Network Open.

In the study, which is based on surveys from over 40 000 inhabitants, a 10.8 per cent to have a confirmed food allergy. Among those who thought they were allergic, reported many of the symptoms that are not consistent with true food allergy, type Research.no.
