What could have ended as an unfortunate moment for the participants to a funeral in Sæby Church, Saturday morning, ended in a touching moment, now shared the country around on Facebook.
One of the begravelsens participants were Michael Justesen, who is a director at TV2/Nord, in the north of Jutland.
Along with the rest of the congregation, he stood inside on the church square waiting for the coffin was carried out. But in that moment, the coffin came into sight in the doorway, came a truck with a bunch of rowdy, excited students running.
- I just managed to think 'Oh no', says Michael Justesen for Extra Magazine.
But to his and the rest of the begravelsens participants ' surprise, happened in the moment of something almost magical.
'I shives up to the many white caps. But they are not there. Or yes, but they are taken of the minds. The students standing stock-still with huerne in the hand and the front against the church, while they pass the hearse and the procession. The music is turned off, båthornene pause. Only when the truck has passed the church and turned away, goes the party started again', writes TV2/North-director in a posting on Facebook that in under a day has been shared over 13,000 times during a day.
- I and others in my generation know very well, that when one passes a funeral, so stop up and show respect. But how many 19-year-olds at just it? And promillen have hardly been at zero, so it requires a part presence. I think that was really nice of them, says Michael Justesen.
the Students ' gesture was noticed by all begravelsens participants, and it ended also with in a positive way to be a big topic of conversation at the subsequent coffee.
In its lookup thank Michael Justesen the present students, who on Saturday at noon drove past Sæby Church. He says to Ekstra Bladet, that he has since been in contact with several of the students from that truck.
- Some of them have written to me on Messenger and said thank you for the ad, and that we noted their gesture during the funeral, he tells.
