Students (21) had a video call with sister when she was attacked and gruesomely murdered

When Aiia Maasarwe (21) Tuesday evening (local time) at the facetimen was made with her sister after a night out in the Australian city of Melbourne, the conversation abruptly to an end. There was shouting and thumping and probably fell the mobile phone of the Israeli exchange student on the ground when she was attacked. Her sister brought immediately to the Australian police informed. The next day was the half naked body of Aiia found in the bushes along the side of the road. The murder shocked Melbourne, normally one of the safest cities in the world.

The student returned Tuesday night to go home after they meet with friends to a performance. In North Melbourne got them on the tram and phoned her sister in Israel to what to talk about. But Aiia was during that video call, suddenly attacked. Her sister “heard voices” and called the police after the line suddenly disconnected.

The next morning it turned out that the student in cold blood was murdered. Her half-naked body by the perpetrator, left behind in the thicket, and found by passers-by. Near the body was also a T-shirt and a cap found, probably left by the murderer, suspect the police. The exact circumstances of her death have yet to be elucidated.
