'Hair-raising photos from the past fills my upcoming book 'Live from America', says in a current Instagram lookup from TV2's US correspondent Jesper Steinmetz, who at the same time, reports that his memoir has just gone to the publisher.
The experienced tv man, who, among other things, is famous/notorious for to appear on the screen in short pants - also when he reports live from the lawn in front of The White House - share in the advertisement on the social media its thoughts about billedvalget with its almost 25.000 followers.

SPINE-chilling photos from the past fills my upcoming book “Live from America”, which has just gone to the publisher. My last task was to select illustrations for the individual chapters. For the story on my way to the UNITED states, I have bl.a. selected this hårfagre picture from my collegeår in Michigan in 1986. There was very diggi lou diggi ley over the period. * Shortsbilledet is a must. As my fotografkollega @pederjessen and I agreed, before I went live in front of The White House: “It is never someone who discovers” * And, of course, shots from the red Oscar carpet, visits with Obama in the oval office and from the ongoing election campaign (before Joe Biden went down in his basement). * All of this coming to a bookstore near you...8. september @politikensforlag • • • • #livefraamerika #bogpåvej #itrykken #illustrations #hairypast #myteenageyears #mytenyearsinamerica
On the picture, where he is significantly more fairhair than you know him from the screen he writes:

About the legendary shorts-image subsequently went around the world, he writes with a twinkle in his eye, that he and the photographer - Peder Jessen - had not reckoned with the subsequent massive attention.

Steinmetz' book will be published 8. september, and there is at least one reader, who already have signed up ready.
On Instagram, writes Jesper Steinmetz' colleague Cecilie Beck: 'Am game to read - with and without hair'.
