president of the UNITED states, Donald Trump, has decided to slow down for a military withdrawal in Syria.
It says the republican senator Lindsey Graham after a meeting with the president Sunday.
- I think we're in a pause situation, says Graham outside The White House after a dinner appointment with Donald Trump, according to news agency AP.
the President announced earlier this month that all of the 2000 us troops in Syria should be taken home from the war-torn Syria.
According to spokesmen from The White House, should the withdrawal be immediate.
In connection with the surprising announcement declared the president's victory over the militant movement Islamic State (IS).

Lindsey Graham has been a talkative critic of the decision to withdraw the u.s. troops home. Not least because he believes that IS still a threat in Syria.
He feels, however, betrygget after his meeting with the president.
- We talked about Syria. He told me some things that I did not know, and that got me to be better with our stance in Syria, says Lindsey Graham, according to news agency Reuters.
- We still disagree, but I can tell you that the president thinks well and truly over Syria, he adds.
Directly when asked whether the president has agreed to slow down the withdrawal of Syria, says Graham:
- I think that the president is very committed to ensuring that when we leave Syria, then IS destroyed completely.
