See invoice: Friend in need was dkk 250,000. of tycoon-director

The now fired director of Academic A-box, Michael Valentin, was transferred 250.000 dollars without payment, to a high school with blood-red figures on the bottom line, where his 'beloved friend' - as he calls him - was the chairman.

It shows the invoice, emails, accounts, and confidential notes in skandalesagen on the Academic A-box, which Ekstra Bladet has had access to.

Michael Valentin is their man, and over a number of years, his friends in the vinklubben got an order in a box for at least 2.6 million dollars. But also drinking and tennisvennen René Bach, who is the chairman of Johan nielsen came Højskole in Copenhagen, enjoyed a bountiful Valentine with a box of money.

the School had in 2015 a disastrous year financially. There was a resounding deficit of 2.5 million crowns, which shaved equity, down from 3.4 million to 899.000 euros.

that Same year, Michael Valentin an idea of a collaboration between a-box and the school according to the principal at nielsen came high School, Bjørn Bredal.

- The very first that I talked to about the agreement with the a-box was Michael Valentin, and it was he who was the initiator, says superintendent Bjørn Bredal.

Michael Valentin was thus 'the initiator', and a morning in the autumn of 2015 held a fund-executive director a meeting with the school's president René Bach and superintendent Bjørn Bredal.

A letter to Michael Valentin from Bjørn Bredal 14. september 2015, tells the story of a 'inspirational' meeting with the hope of cooperation. 'Many models' was in the game, but the principal suggested a deal:

'Scholars' A-box supports nielsen came high School with an annual amount of dkr. 250.000. The agreement may run for one, two or three years', wrote the superintendent Bjørn Bredal.

With the quarter of a million was a-box members 'part of the school environment', got the priority right to use the school 'ten times a year' and a 'discreet' information about the a-box support to the school, suggested the principal.

in Addition, the 'fertilizing' the school and the a-box each other with ideas, it sounded in the letter, which, however, stated that 'everything can be adjusted'.

And everything could supposedly be adjusted. The most robust, which subsequently recurs in the communication on the cooperation, is the amount of 250,000 from a fund at the school.

For example, when Michael Valentin a week after the meeting with the school sends an email to the management in Academic A-box. Here suggested to the director that the management team discussed ideas for cooperation with the school.

'It could be a medarbejderseminar "at the high school for a day", two hour presentation together with different interesting people, to which we invite members to...', wrote Michael Valentin to management 21. september 2015.

There was again a meeting between a-box and school 2. February 2016, which was given 'shaking hands' on an agreement, and the transfer of 250.000 Danish kroner according to an email from superintendent Bjørn Bredal.

It ended up with an invoice from Johan nielsen came high School in the 250,000 to a fund for 'the Lease of premises total for the year 2016' dated 5. February 2016. The money was taken from a-fund account (acquiring and sponsorships) paid 19. February, shows an internal, confidential memo from the Academic A-box.

Here is the invoice on the dkk 250,000. which later proved that go to absolutely nothing.

The quarter of a million was posted with the description 'rent to the div. events from puljemidler'.

Confederation of A-kasses members and staff, however, has nothing got for the money. Either in 2016 or in 2017.

- That has not been held an event, but we've got those 250 000 crowns, which we have indtægtsført, says Bjørn Bredal.

A box had booked rooms several times in the course of 2016, informs Johan nielsen came high School, but everything ended up running out in the sand.

the Amount has, however, set clear traces in the school's financial statements, where the lokaleposten suddenly shot in the air. With the a-box agreement in 2016, was the income from the rent more than doubled to 673.480 crowns, shows the accounts available on the ministry of Education regnskabsportal.

the Money from a box dropped in a dry place, as the school had a large deficit in 2015. With the aid from the unemployment fund ended the school with a deficit of just under 200.000 dollars in 2016.

In 2017, there went the profits from the rent down again and lay on the 387.450 crowns.

the School believes, however, that they were allowed to work for money, even though there was no events.

- We spent much energy on the agreement, the chamber was all the time blocked, so we couldn't use it, and at the same time, we talked all the time with new people, says Bjørn Bredal.

In spite of the considerable energy and many people, then, suggested the president of the school board, René Bach, yet to continue the agreement, as 2016 was at its end.

In an email to his friend Michael Valentin had college-the president several caps on, when he wrote about food, drinking, and a new agreement.

'are 1) when should we eat a packed lunch? 2) Or greet Ole Jastrau. And the boring questions. I take equal Borup folk high School caps on. Were you really satisfied with your cooperation? And, you could imagine that doing it again next year?' wrote René Bach 7. november

A nod to Ole Jastrau refers supposedly to Tom Kristensen's novel 'Vandalism', where the main character Ole Jastrau decides to drink himself to death.

Michael Valentin said his 'friend' 20. november.

'Mht Borup, we have simply not moved on anything, as we in our own organization had resources and may not renew the agreement in 2017' wrote Michael Valentin.

e-Mail-exchange between Michael Valentin, and René Bach whether the support should continue.

the President of nielsen came high School, René Bach, can not imagine that there was a vennetjeneste from Michael's Valentine's page, as the school got over 250,000 dollars.

- I think It's actually not that it was. How is it like with the network. Michael and I have an old collegial relationship, and so it is clear, that when I sit as president, then I ask around in my network who can help, and who is interested, says René Bach.

the President of the school recognises, however, that the money from Michael Valentin fell in a dry place.

- A school such as our wanting the money. We need to look under all the rocks we can. No matter how naive it might sound, it is simply not a vennetjeneste from him to me. I can not imagine, he explains.

the Collaboration between the two friends, however, were continued in 2017. Michael Valentin joined as a board member of nielsen came high School 30. October 2017, informs the school.

It came to pass after a process in which president René Bach found potential candidates, which he presented to the board.

Michael Valentin does not want to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the quarter of a million dollars, and he has difficulty to explain why the events at the school never came to anything.

- Which was pushed back several times, when it came to anything, but it hit a period where we were asked by the professional organisations to put out whining a little, he has previously stated.

When Michael Valentin was fired made a-box auditor a ’cross-check of invoice’ at school 25. september.

Thus was the a-box a surety for a quarter of a million dollars for empty premises. It denotes the then president of the a-box, Allan Luplau, as ’inappropriate advance payment’ and not a contravention.

'the Relationship had thus most be characterized as poor management/handling, which can also be wrong enough', writes Allan Luplau.

’however, There was no basis to conclude that there was an illegal relationship or a payment in clear breach of the staff regulations’, writes Allan Luplau, who do not want to put up for interview.
