Ringsted Municipality create new seats for covid-19-infected citizens, who need to isolate themselves, according to at least 79 employees at Danish Crown's slaughterhouse in the city have been tested positive for covid-19.
so Far Ringsted Municipality only had two isolationspladser. But now setting up the municipality for eight new seats to the coronasmittede.
It informs the municipality in a press release.

- We must acknowledge that we had not expected to stand in a situation like this with such a large need to provide facilities to selvisolation, he says in the message.
Ringsted Municipality shall also in the press release, that the municipality is ready to find more facilities, if the need shows itself.
Many of the employees who have been infected, comes, according to Danish Crown from Poland and other eastern countries.
They live often in conditions where it is difficult to isolate itself in 14 days, if they become infected with the covid-19.
The new isolationspladser are decorated in an old villa in Jystrup, located to the north of Ringsted.
Here is the space for the infected citizens to isolate themselves from the outside world, if they do not have the option for it in their own home.
Citizens do not come outside of the land register, so there is no risk of spreading the infection to neighbours, says in the press release.
Ringsted Municipality is, however, hard hit by the coronavirus, that the municipality has asked neighbouring municipalities for help to make sure isolationspladser. It has both Sorø Municipality Faxe Municipality reported positively back on.
- We are used to out here on the Sydøstsjælland to help each other, when it comes, so it is a request, we look positively on, came the answer from the mayor in Faxe Municipality Ole Vive (V) on Tuesday, which would look at how many seats, the municipality can tender for with.
According to the Statens Serum Institut has in total, there have been 127 confirmed cases of covid-19 in Ringsted Municipality. 79 of them have been by employees at the Danish Crown slaughterhouse in the municipality.
