A miniatuurbeeldje of postman Gaston was on Tuesday unveiled in Dominiek Savio and got a nice place in the entrance hall of the castle. It shows Gaston in his glory days as a postman, complete with tricycle. The drawing is from the hand of Koen Vandekindere (52), an artist with a disability. Koen worked for about three months, one day per week in the piece in the clay department of the institute. He based this on a picture of Gaston in his younger years.
Requirements to fulfillThere is a special story behind the creation of the image.
