Police shoot messentrekker dead: two wounded, suicide note found

The police has this morning in Mechelen, a 34-year-old man shot after he and two people with knives to body went. The man died from his wounds. He had a suicide note left in his apartment.

The facts started at the man's home, where he got into fights with his wife and her injured with a knife. Then hit the thirties on the flight.

Supermarket

He fled and then a Spar supermarket within. There he pulled out two knives. First there was two wounded, but that turned out not to be correct. There were a few people cared. When the man in the supermarket left, he pushed a fietsster of her bike and injured her with his knives. She is injured but is not in danger.

Police fire fatal

The police had taken a massive on-the-spot gone before and was forced a few shots to solve it. One of the bullets hit the man fatal. “The research now being conducted is twofold”, says Nele Poelmans of the public prosecutor of Antwerp, section Mechelen. “There is an investigation into the shooting incident by the police and an investigation into the facts that gave rise to that shooting incident.”
